Direful Dolls Cardfight Vanguard Deck Tech

By Serena L.

Stand Up! Vanguard!

Serena back again! This time we’re back with Vanguard talking with the modern version of one of my favorite decks: Direful Dolls! This new archetype is a Standard format take on the old Nightmare Dolls with a whole new rideline that gets really good on those grindy games. And like Nightmare Dolls, Direful Dolls revolved around calling Workeroid units from soul to attack our opponents, with the added twist of calling them from bind for defense!

How to Store and Protect Cards with Unusual Sizes

By Matt Gilman of Cards Over Coffee

Cards come in all shapes and sizes, but sometimes it can be a struggle  on what to do with storage on these. I know I struggled with it at first and they were starting to stack up. That’s when I discovered that they make different sized photograph holders that can be used for cards.

Pokémon Deck Tech: Quad Thorns

For most decks, finding the right balance between Pokémon and Trainer cards is as much art as it is science. That’s not the case with this deck: it’s 4 copies of Iron Thorns ex. There are obvious disadvantages, such as giving your opponent significant card advantage before the game begins. Fortunately, in this case, the risks are worth the reward.

Miku, the Renowned Commander Deck Tech

By Serena L.

Hey guys!
It’s Serena, taking the stage again to bring you all another Magic the Gathering Commander deck tech!

Selection of cards from the Miku-themed commander deck featured in the article

This time, we’re discussing Hatsune Miku! More specifically, we’re talking about Miku, the Renowned, a reskinned version of Feather, the Redeemed, a classic commander. This is a 3/4 flying angel for a red and two white. Also, whenever you cast an instant or sorcery that targets a creature you control, you exile it, then return it to your hand at the end phase. Therefore, we’re a fairly limited spellslinger deck, but that doesn’t mean we have bad options! The deck revolves around our commander and low-cost spells to hit our opponents hard and fast.

BCW Card Catalogs Meet WPN Premium Standards

Most game shops fall under the Wizards Play Network banner, but only a few have WPN Premium status. WPN Premium stores receive several benefits, such as exclusive product, WPN Premium promo cards, access to special events, and exclusive marketing materials. However, WPN Premium stores are expected to be among the best of the best, so there are several requirements a store must meet to be accepted. You can find an overview and checklist on the WPN Premium Hub.

Card Catalog

While product knowledge and running engaging events are important aspects, many of the requirements focus on layout design and general upkeep of the store. Important areas highlighted are Card Storage and Shipping Boxes/Cardboard. In short, cardboard boxes need to be out of view, and card storage needs to be in an organized and matching solution or out of sight. The BCW 6 Drawer Card Catalog meets the requirements for card storage without the use of cardboard. This helps check off 2 important requirements, letting you focus on other areas. Best of all, the Card Catalogs are modular, letting you easily add more units as your inventory grows.

The Card Catalog is an excellent way to help your shop meet – or maintain – WPN premium status. Combining a high-quality look that fits nearly every theme with a modular design, the 6-Drawer Card Catalog will make storing and searching your card inventory easier than ever.

Introducing the Spectrum 50 ct Prism Deck Cases

The Spectrum Prism deck cases have become a popular option for gamers looking for a simple and effective box for their decks. As you likely know, they hold 100 double-sleeved gaming cards. While this is great for Commander players, many ccgs simply don’t work with them. With that in mind, we would like to introduce our 50 ct Prism Cases.

Like the 100 ct Prisms, these deck boxes are made of sturdy plastic with a smooth finish. They also have the same snap closure and squeeze to open feature as the original. However, 50 ct Prisms are slightly thinner, letting them fit in a 1600 or 3200 ct Card Bin for storage or transport. Of course, since the design won’t let them open accidentally, putting one in your backpack is a great way to carry them too.

As the name implies, the 50 ct Prisms hold 50 double-sleeved or a little over 60 single-sleeved tcg cards. This makes them perfect for games like:

How to Store Your Magazine Collection

By Matt Gilman

When doing some spring cleaning, I came to the realization that I needed to do something with the stacks of collectible Beckett and Sports Illustrated For Kids magazines I had sitting on my bookshelves and make them look a little more organized and not so much “I am hoarding”.

That’s when I went online shopping and grabbed some materials that would help with this project.
