A rainbow card series is one of the most frustrating and rewarding things you can collect in the hobby.
Rainbows are a sequence variation of colors/designs of a singular base card or autographed card. The amount of cards in a complete rainbow can vary depending on the product. Some may have 5-10, while others can have up to 40. Which, by the way, is insane.
Hey guys! It’s Serena, back again! This time, bringing you something a little different. Thanks to my recent birthday, I was able to obtain each of the Final Fantasy commander preconstructed decks. I know that sometimes, finding balance in your playgroup can be hard, so I had an idea: I will use these decks and make myself a ‘Pod Box’!
BCW’s Spectrum Playmat Topload Holders are a great way to display your favorite gaming playmats and protect them when going to your next CCG tournament. But don’t let the name fool you; these may be “playmat” toploaders for gamers, but sports collectors will find these useful, too. Here are three ways I use the Playmat Topload Holders to protect some of my sports memorabilia.
Every great collector has a starting point—a neighborhood store, a welcoming counter, and the thrill of discovering something new. BCW Supplies is proud to support the hobby shops that fuel this excitement through our Store Spotlight program.
Whether you’re a seasoned card collector, a vinyl crate digger, or a TCG player hunting for the perfect addition to your deck, these shops are more than retail spaces: they’re community hubs. Our Store Spotlight campaign highlights these exceptional local stores, helping them connect with a broader audience of collectors in their region. For our wholesale customers, this is your chance to shine.
While BCW attends a few shows and convention, there are many shows that we cannot attend. In these cases, BCW works with several vendor partners to make BCW product available at these shows. You can find more information on the vendor program in this article.
This time, we’re talking about what I take to a HeroClix tournament. HeroClix is a collectible miniatures game based primarily on characters from Marvel and DC comics, but occasionally other IPs are added, such as TMNT, Beetlejuice, and even Dungeons & Dragons. All the figures in the game have a dial in their base that clicks as you turn it, revealing the stats and powers of the particular figure. Each game piece has its own point value, and each tournament has a point total your team needs to achieve, usually 300 or 400 points. Gameplay consists of each player using several actions per turn, one for every 100 points used. For example, a 300-point tournament uses three actions per player. The game continues until one team is completely KO’d or until the timer runs out, at which point the winner is decided by whoever knocked out the most points.
It’s time for the third color on our list for the Jumpstart cube. This time, we’re covering black, my personal favorite. To go over the basics, we’re doing 20 card packs, each with three rares, at least one piece of removal, six basic lands, and an Evolving Wilds. We’ve previously covered white and blue.
Both Gholdengo ex and Ceruledge ex are proven decks. While neither is at the top of the meta, both are solid performers that can threaten almost any deck. However, both come with some downsides. Gholdengo needs to constantly recycle energy, or it runs out of steam, and Ceruledge needs to fill the discard pile with energy as quickly as possible. With this in mind, I thought I would combine the two, as they work well together.
This time we’re diving into the four blue packs in my Jumpstart cube. As a refresher, each of these twenty card packs will have 6 basic lands, an Evolving Wilds, at least one piece of removal and 3 rares. Since we’re in blue, I decided things like Counterspell and other counter magic worked for the removal slot. If you want a to take a look at the four packs in white, you can find them in this article.
