The BCW Short Comic Storage Box is the prototypical comic storage option. For a time, this was the only style available for collectors. It is a simple, utilitarian option that holds up well to use. Due to the cardboard construction, they will need replaced eventually, which can be an issue for large collections. With that in mind, it is perfect for people new to the hobby, as it is sturdy and inexpensive. The Long Comic Box and Graded Comic Box have similar advantages and disadvantages.
Similar to the plain short boxes, the line of Printed Art Boxes offer the same protection but with eye-catching graphics. There are several varieties covering a wide range of licenses. If you collect a specific series, a matching box can help keep your collection organized while also having aesthetic appeal.
