How to Protect and Store Graded Cards
While most collectors keep their cards removable holders, many choose to have their cards graded and encased in rigid card slabs. For a service fee, trusted companies such as Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA), Beckett Grading Services (BGS), SGC, Certified Sports Guaranty (CSG), Certified Guaranty Company (CGC), International Sports Authentication (ISA), Premier Card Grading (PCG), and Hybrid Grading Approach (HGA) will grade your card and encase them in a sealed card slab. BCW offers several solutions for storing your graded cards.
Before all of that, you will need to get your cards sent in to be graded. Collectors use items such as Semi-Rigid holders, as grading companies prefer these over holders like toploaders. In fact, using a different holder can lead to the grading process taking longer.
When paired with a Penny Sleeve, a semi-rigid can act as a protective solution on its own. BCW offers several boxes to store semi-rigid holders, whether you plan to send to graders en masse or use them as your preferred storage solution.
Super Vault Storage Box
This single row cardboard box has a full lid that comes down to the base of the box, making it very strong. It will hold about 75 graded cards from all grading companies.
Graded Card Shoe Box
This double row box will hold about 100 graded cards.
Slotted Graded Card Box
This premium box has slotted sides to insert 26 PSA, CSG, CGC, or PCG slabs. These are not the designed to hold BGS, SGC, HGA, ISA, or other larger slabs.
Graded Card Box
This box holds about 30 graded cards horizontally.
Graded Card Bin
An upgraded version of the Graded Shoe Box, the Graded Card Bin is made of acid-free plastic for a more sturdy and durable storage solution. Holds about 100 graded slabs from nearly every company. This bin also features a latching lid and retractable handle.
Graded Locking Card Cases
Available in 2, 3, and 4-row versions, these cases feature a soft foam interior and integrated combination locks.
Graded Card Sleeves
To keep the plastic slabs free of scratches, many collectors place the graded cards in sleeves. BCW Graded Card Sleeves are actually bags, meaning they have a flap that folds over the top and closes with a resealable strip. These are large enough to accommodate almost all card slabs.
While many collectors will be content with having their graded cards stored away, some collectors will want to display their slabs, especially of their most prized cards. The Interlocking Graded Card Frame comes with 4 frames that can be arranged in different configurations to fit your vision, and multiple sets can be combined for larger displays.
How can I purchase a few graded card slabs. I inherited several graded cards from my uncle but the slabs are a mess. The cards are still perfect but the slabs have scratches. I just want to replace the slabs.
We do not sell card slabs, as people would try to grade cards themselves, creating distrust in the grading system. To get new slabs, you would need to re-submit cards to the grading company. I’m not sure if there’s a discount if you don’t want the card to be reviewed, but I think that’s unlikely. To prevent graded cards from getting scratched, we offer Graded Card Bags and boxes. https://www.bcwsupplies.com/catalogsearch/advanced/result/?simple_search=gradedcard

I need sleeves and semi-rigid top loaders for approximately 300 1952 Bowman Large Football, size 2.5″x 3.75″. Does BCW have what I need?
Those are a bit to tall for regular penny sleeves. You can get Tall Card Sleeves and trim them. https://www.bcwsupplies.com/tall-card-sleeves The interior of a Standard Toploader is 2 3/4″ x 3 7/8″, so those will work fine. https://www.bcwsupplies.com/3×4-topload-card-holder
